KOLAPPTECH LTD is a Nigerian company building Kola, an AI voice agent that talks to customers on the phone in the languages they speak.
What we build
Kola for Business (business.kolapp.tech) calls customers about orders and unpaid payments. Kola for Banks (kolapp.tech) helps bank customers by phone. Both run on the same voice engine.
Founder
Kola was started by Usang Emmanuel (also written Emmanuel Usang), a software engineer based in Lagos, Nigeria, and Founder and Director of KOLAPPTECH LTD. His code is on GitHub.
Recognition
Kola was 1st runner up at the Paystack AI Builder Challenge Demo Day in October 2026, and began as a project for the Learn2Earn x BMONI Hack the Future hackathon.
