What is Kola for Business?
Kola for Business is an AI voice agent that phones your customers about orders and unpaid payments. It confirms an order, updates a customer on a delay, follows up an abandoned payment and asks how the experience went. It is built by KOLAPPTECH LTD in Nigeria.
Which languages does Kola speak?
English, Nigerian Pidgin, Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa. Kola opens in English, asks which language the customer prefers and remembers the choice for next time. See the languages page.
Does Kola only work with Paystack?
No. If you use Paystack, Kola can send a secure checkout link and check the payment while the customer is on the line. If your customers pay by transfer or cash, Kola works from your orders instead.
Will Kola guess the status of an order?
Never. Kola only says the status your staff set and the time estimate your staff gave. If it does not know, it says so and a person follows up.
Does Kola take card details or PINs on the phone?
No. Kola never asks for card numbers, PINs, passwords or one-time codes. Payments happen on the customer's own phone through a secure link.
Who decides which customers get a call and when?
You do. Your team chooses who is called and the calling hours. Calls follow a hard budget, each call has a time cap, and customers are only called back if they agree.
How does Kola know about my business?
You add your business profile, menu or catalogue and common questions in the dashboard. Kola answers from that information and from your orders, so it does not make things up. It is not trained on your data.
Can my team read what was said on a call?
Yes. Every call has a transcript in the dashboard. For staff who read English only, a Translate to English button shows an English version under each line.
What happens when a customer is upset or asks for a person?
Kola passes disputes and complaints to your team with the full transcript, so the customer does not have to repeat themselves.
Is there a version for banks?
Yes. Kola for Banks at kolapp.tech helps bank customers by phone in English, Pidgin and Yoruba.
